Elie Weisel

http://xroads.virginia.edu/~CAP/HOLO/ELIEBIO.HTM

This link is a biography of Elie Wiesel. It states that he has written around 36 novels that has to do with Judism. He spent almost his entire life to show the rest of us who had not personally experienced the things that they had, how extremely terrible it was, and making sure that no one will forget it. "...to remain silent and indifferent is the greatest sin of all..." (quoted by Elie Weisel) I believe this clearlly states his views and how he feels. I believe this is very helpful information because in order to really understand what an author is saying you must know what he's feeling as well.

the holocaust

This is one of the most popular pictures from the holocaust. If I'm not mistaken this picture is actually in the museum of tolerance, which is where I first saw this picture.

After reading about all of the occurences, and reading about different families that had been affected by the Holocaust it really sickens me that people have the nerve to say that this didn't really happen.

What an insult to those who had died, or those who had lost. I couldn't in my wildest dreams imagine everything that they had to witness. I just don't understand how some people can you look at all of the images presented and flat out say that it didn't happen
